The Glasgow SF Writers’ Circle has a new book out. GALLUS is a celebration of Glaswegian writing published to coincide with the World Science Fiction Convention which begins here in Glasgow this week.

I’ve been a member of GSFWC since I started writing way back in the 1990s. It’s an amazing, supportive community, and an irreplaceable part of my creative life. We don’t do publications often, but when we do it’s always a celebration and my co-editors, E.M. Faulds and Brian M. Milton, cover artist, Jenni Coutts, and all the contributors worked their little Glaswegian butts off to make this book very special indeed.
This is a book for lovers of mythology and legend, of far flung planets, of technological nightmares, secret histories, gonzo Glaswegian literary heists, witches engaging in collective action to save the planet, and much, much more.
You can read more about it here.
To properly send our little book out into the world, we’re having a launch party at Worldcon (Friday 9th, 4pm Argyll 3). If you’re a member of the con we’d love to see you.

If you can’t make that one, we’re having a public launch event at Waterstones, Argyle St on Thursday August 29th. Click through now to reserve a ticket!
If you just want to read the book, you can do that too. It’s available now.
