BSFA Award for Best Collection

Last night Blood In The Bricks won the British Science Fiction Association award for best collection. Given the calibre of works on the shortlist I was absolutely dumbfounded, and still am this morning. If you love short fiction, go check out those wonderful books, you’re in for a treat.

I’m so grateful to everyone who contributed to this book.

The brilliant contributors: James Bennett, Kim Lakin, Tracy Fahey, Steve Toase, Ian Whates, E.Saxey, Tim Major, Phil Sloman, Lyndsey Croal, Timothy J Jarvis, Dan Coxon, Matthew Hopkins, Penny Jones, Joanna Corrance, Angela Slatter, James Everington, Harvey Welles, Phil Raines, Don Redwood, and Ray Cluley.

Not forgetting Vincent Chong for his iconic cover art.

And most of all Ian Whates and Newcon Press for wilfully agreeing to venture down the creepy alley of urban folk horror with me and making it all possible.

You’re all stars!
