Q: Forget the crows, and the invasion of giant crabs, where the hell did the idea of luck monkeys 
come from?

What? What do you expect me to say to that? Sometimes the gods of inspiration just give you a gift. I mean who doesn’t wish that monkey really did scamper up to you in the street and present you with a (slightly soggy and possibly chewed) token of luck as part of the natural order of things?
