Thought I’d pop in here to say a Hi There. I read “The Euonymist” in Logorrhea and really enjoyed it — being of Scottish origin (though of SE England upbringing… boo hiss?) I couldn’t help but grin at the solution to the naming problem. I’ve since bought The Ephemera (I found a stray copy via amazon) and am looking forward to getting stuck in.
Hi Alex
Glad you enjoyed The Euonymist (and, I hope, the rest of Logorrhea too). I love the Scots language and enjoy using it whenever I can (or whenever it suits the story at least). And I enjoy slipping in cultural references that resonate with Scots too. Everyone has an Aunt Bella, don’t they?
I’m amazed you got hold of a copy of Ephemera, but I hope you enjoy it.
All the best
Neil
